HIV Awareness Week Events

NOLA HIV Awareness Week is just around the corner.

On November 29th-December 6th,  a number of community organizations and partners are helping to increase awareness of HIV, tackle stigma against HIV, and offer free services for sexual health screening.

While World AIDS Day is observed December 1, in New Orleans, we’re making NOLA HIV Awareness Week November 29 - December 6. Here are some key events happening in our community that week:

Be sure to sign-up for the thunderclap which is the first-ever crowd speaking platform that helps people be heard by saying something together. It allows a single message to be mass-shared, so it “rises above the noise” of your social networks. The message is set to be released on November 29th and we’ll need to have reached our goal of 100 supporters! We have 8 days left to reach our goal.  We would love if you could help!

We will be celebrating World AIDS Day during a week of events beginning Wednesday, November 29th and ending Wednesday, December 6th.  Please share this information with your networks! Additional events can be found on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/events/136187193774802/
